Showroom shop replenishment

Problem: A network of small showroom-based stores is managing their on-site storage space in a non-structured way. While the inventory list exists and is exposed online, the actual location of items is unknown to personnel. This leads to wasteful leftovers, unexpected picking time spikes, deteriorated performance of high-churn locations and customer frustration.
Input: Inventory warehouse bin scheme table, showroom bin scheme table, Inventory received, Inventory picked
Output: A table for every item received - an exact placement.

Integration: Dynamics 365 - HyperC adapter running in Azure instance takes in committed inventory, calculates the placement based on a custom bin scheme for every site and fills in placement report on SharePoint document. HyperC project file is centrally maintained in-house.

Time to implement: 10 hours + 2 hours per each site, requirements & integration
